Palfinger Innovations at IAA 2018

Palfinger will exhibit on an area of 1,720 m², with the main focus on the NEXCELLENCE program, which leverages digitalization to provide more comfortable, efficient, and safer crane operations.

The world premiere will feature:

Palfinger crawler crane with PCC 115.002 crane
Two new PK crane models from the TEC series – PK 37.002 TEC 7 and PK 35.002 TEC 5,
Prototype of the EPSILON Triple Z crane Q17Z103TR designed for container handling and operations in the recycling sector.

Visitors will have the opportunity to test the Smart Control crane management system, as well as witness a demonstration of crane operation from the vehicle cabin using VR glasses and electronic support systems for advanced control.

Innovations in Action

At the fair, the PK 135.002 TEC 7 crane and the P 370 KS E platform – Palfinger’s first electric work basket – will be demonstrated in operation.

In addition, Palfinger will present innovations from its entire product range:

container loaders and lifters,
new truck-mounted superstructures,
additional equipment,
loading ramps,
forklifts

Focus on Service

For the first time, special attention will be given to the service department. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest technological solutions, including Palfinger Telematics, a system that uses virtual reality technology for crane management.

The latest models, PCC 115.002 and PK 135.002 TEC 7, will be showcased in this segment.
