First Palfinger PK 135.002 TEC7 crane in the region!

A new Palfinger heavy-duty crane PK 135.002 TEC7 – the first in the region – has been delivered to Beokran d.o.o. from Belgrade, specialists in heavy load transport and handling. This crane features eight hydraulic extensions (reach of 19.4 m) and an additional hydraulic extension – the PJ190E fly-jib, which extends the vertical reach to an impressive 35 m. A saddle + demountable body TS-4.5, 4,500 mm long, was mounted on the four-axle truck, while the complete superstructure was installed on a Volvo FH500HP 8×4 with a latest-generation engine (Euro 6, 13 liters, 500 HP).

The chassis is double-framed along its entire length and extended forward by 400 mm to accommodate the crane’s front outrigger. The vehicle features a liftable truck axle – a unique solution in the trucking world. All axles have air suspension, with the front axles each having a load capacity of 10 tons. The truck is also equipped with the Volvo Dynamic Steering active steering system. The crane includes a hydraulic folding winch with a pulling force of 3.5 tons on the main boom, as well as continuous slewing, characteristic of the latest Palfinger models.

Palfinger Functions and Systems

The new PK 135.002 TEC7 is equipped with numerous advanced functions that facilitate operation and increase safety:

  • HPSC (High Performance Stability Control) – enables operation even when outriggers are not fully extended, with automatic capacity adjustment.
  • HPSC LOAD – uses the load on the truck as a counterweight, thereby increasing the crane’s reach.
  • P-FOLD – folding and unfolding the crane with just one button.
  • RTC – automatic control of steel rope tension on the winch.
  • SRC – maintains a constant distance between the hook, winch, and pulley, increasing efficiency.
  • WEIGH – displays the load weight and allows the operator to check lifting capabilities according to the diagram.
  • AOS – neutralizes load jolts during sudden command changes, reducing the risk of swaying.
  • PJMFA – multifunctional adapter for easy connection of an additional articulated arm or fly-jib.
