Palfinger, a global leader and innovator in truck-mounted cranes, has introduced the new generation PK 165.002 TEC7. This model delivers the ideal combination of power and reach while being one ton lighter than its predecessor, the PK 150.002. This allows installation on chassis with a gross weight of 32 tons, offering users lower costs, higher productivity, and improved operational efficiency.
The new crane demonstrates its strength particularly when handling heavy loads at long distances. With a lifting moment of 125 t/m and a fly-jib option, its capacity increases from 6.5 to 8.2 tons. In combination with the PJ 240 and PJ 300L extensions, the PK 165.002 TEC7 achieves a maximum working height of 35 meters and an impressive 40 meters, respectively.
One of the greatest advantages is the Power Link Plus system, which allows the crane to operate even in hard-to-reach spaces—such as when accessing an opening in a building. This makes the PK 165.002 TEC7 a specialist for tasks requiring exceptional flexibility and precision.
Additionally, Palfinger has invested significantly in modern and functional design. The telescopic system with an innovative P-profile provides greater rigidity and reduced structural weight, while sensors, hydraulics, and electronics are fully protected from mechanical damage and external influences. This ensures reliability and durability even in the most demanding working conditions.
With all these improvements, the PK 165.002 TEC7 confirms Palfinger’s leading position in the development of next-generation cranes, offering users greater power, higher efficiency, and an enhanced level of safety in daily operations.
