Special structures are being fabricated for the stationary installation of seven PK 10000 cranes at NIS oil facilities in Kikinda.

The complete structures will be hot-dip galvanized according to EN ISO 1461, ensuring long-lasting corrosion protection and maximum durability under demanding working conditions. The cranes will be used for sludge handling during oil extraction, and to address existing challenges in this process, Palfinger Srbija has developed specially adapted equipment.

Since the cranes will operate in a hazardous (flammable) zone, all equipment is manufactured in “EX” configuration. They will be equipped with special grabs, and the entire project is being carried out under the supervision of the Vinča Institute, which will inspect and certify the equipment.

The delivery is scheduled for the end of the year, and attached you can see the stages of the structure fabrication.
