PALFINGER platforms demonstrated their strength and flexibility on one of the most prestigious projects—cleaning, maintenance, and repairs at the new Louis Vuitton Museum in the heart of Paris.
On this unique glass-and-steel building, three PALFINGER platforms were used:
- WT 350 (Jumbo class) – for work on roof surfaces,
- WT 370 (Premium class) – for the lower sections of the exterior,
- P 900 (Top class) – for work on the upper glass surfaces.
The futuristic design of the building required special technical solutions, as it was essential to provide access to all parts of the exterior while preventing mechanical damage. For this reason, PALFINGER experts implemented an innovative system with sensors in the work platform, which alert the operator when approaching the building, significantly reducing the risk of collisions and damage.
An additional challenge was the work process itself, as activities took place during the night, requiring quiet and precise operation of the platforms. Here too, PALFINGER demonstrated its ability to meet the highest client demands.
The project managers of Louis Vuitton expressed their admiration for the performance and safety of PALFINGER equipment, which enabled maximum precision, efficiency, and protection of the architectural masterpiece.
