A new Palfinger heavy-duty crane <\/a>PK 135.002 TEC7 \u2013 the first in the region \u2013 has been delivered to Beokran d.o.o. from Belgrade, specialists in heavy load transport and handling. This crane features eight hydraulic extensions (reach of 19.4 m) and an additional hydraulic extension \u2013 the PJ190E fly-jib, which extends the vertical reach to an impressive 35 m. A saddle + demountable body TS-4.5<\/a>, 4,500 mm long, was mounted on the four-axle truck, while the complete superstructure was installed on a Volvo FH500HP 8\u00d74 with a latest-generation engine (Euro 6, 13 liters, 500 HP). <\/p>\n\n

The chassis is double-framed along its entire length and extended forward by 400 mm to accommodate the crane’s front outrigger. The vehicle features a liftable truck axle \u2013 a unique solution in the trucking world. All axles have air suspension, with the front axles each having a load capacity of 10 tons. The truck is also equipped with the Volvo Dynamic Steering active steering system. The crane includes a hydraulic folding winch with a pulling force of 3.5 tons on the main boom, as well as continuous slewing, characteristic of the latest Palfinger models. <\/p>\n\n
