The “Heavy Duty” towing service for trucks and buses represents a specialized vehicle in the Palfinger Serbia offering, developed in accordance with the real needs of professional users, while meeting all legal requirements and necessary certifications for vehicle registration. It is a truck-mounted superstructure designed for towing, recovery, and rescue of heavy-duty vehicles, trucks, buses, and construction machinery in the most demanding operating conditions.

This type of vehicle is internationally known as a Heavy Duty Recovery Vehicle or heavy recovery truck, and is available in fully customized configurations, in accordance with user requirements. The superstructures are intended for professional companies providing towing services for heavy vehicles, where reliability, safety, and high operational efficiency are key criteria.

Technical design and equipment of the superstructure

The truck-mounted superstructure is used for towing broken-down trucks and buses, as well as for recovering vehicles that have run off the road or have been involved in traffic accidents. For towing heavy vehicles, specially designed hydraulically operated towing forks are used, consisting of a main and an auxiliary arm. The auxiliary arm allows positioning close to the ground, preventing damage to the bumper and undercarriage of the vehicle.

The towing forks have a maximum usable load capacity of up to 26 t in the retracted position, enabling safe handling of even the heaviest vehicles.
