The public enterprise JP Srbijašume has received seven PALFINGER EPSILON cranes with forestry superstructures from PALFINGER Serbia. This is the second major delivery of forestry superstructures with PALFINGER EPSILON cranes, further strengthening the logistical capacities of forest management units across Serbia. The superstructures are mounted on Renault Trucks K440 P6×4 vehicles.
The latest PALFINGER EPSILON M12Z83 model, with an 8.3-meter reach, is equipped with an FG53 grapple with a lifting capacity of 5,000 kg. The trucks feature floorless SP160-6.6 forestry platforms, 6,600 mm in length, with steel undercarriage protection and steel front walls. Segments of the front wall and parts of the auxiliary chassis are KTL-coated (cataphoretic painting), providing long-lasting corrosion resistance and extended service life. The platforms are built with four steel beams and four pairs of EXTE D7 aluminum telescopic stakes with a 7-ton capacity. Accompanying the trucks are PSM180 forestry trailers with a gross weight of 18 tons, a loading space length of 5,225 mm, and a net load capacity of 15 tons. These trailers are also floorless platforms, with steel undercarriage protection and four pairs of EXTE D7 aluminum stakes.
